Turn off protection
Remove call forwarding
FamilyDefender works through call forwarding on your parent’s phone. When protection ends, remove it, or some calls may not get through.
- 1
Turn protection off in the app
The app shows the right code for your parent’s carrier and asks to confirm it is done.
- 2
Dial the code on your parent’s phone
Open the Phone app, type the code below and press call. You’ll see or hear a confirmation.
- 3
Check with a test call
Call your parent’s phone from another number. It should ring as usual.
| Carrier | Dial |
|---|---|
| AT&T, T-Mobile | ##67# |
| Verizon | *73 |
| Many other carriers | ##004# or ##21# |
Codes can differ between carriers and plans. If a code doesn’t work, call your carrier and ask them to turn off call forwarding, or write to support@familydefender.app.
Cancelling a store subscription does not remove call forwarding. Do both.
